With the guiding principle of Ħ§adding life to days when days cannot be added to lifeĦ¨, the Society is dedicated to promote hospice care, provide bereavement support services, and develop related trainings. Through community education programmes, the Society advocates a positive attitude towards facing end-of-life.

 

Influencing Beliefs and Attitudes

  • Heightening community and professional awareness and attention on the issues surrounding death, dying and bereavement.
  • Facilitating and fostering open discussion on death and dying while respecting and supporting cultural, religious and family beliefs.

  • Developing skills and understanding through the on-going discussion of end of life care among health care providers.

Advocating for best possible care

  • Collaborating with care-givers form different disciplines to further develop their approach and practice to the care of the dying and the bereaved.
