Father Sean Patrick
Burke, MM, MBE, JP, Executive Committee Member of our
Society died peacefully at St Paul's Hospital on 5 May 2009,
aged 63. Father Sean Patrick Burke became the Executive Committee
Member of our Society since 1989. He was well-known for promoting
the hospice movement, advocating life and death education
and caring for the elderly. Our Society has learned with deepest
regret of the death of Father Sean and he will be remembered
with love and affection by us all. Memorial

Advisory Council of Governors received "The Second
Hong Kong Humanity Award" issued by Hong Kong Red Cross,
acknowledging her great contributions and dedication in promoting
the hospice movement in Hong Kong as well as her selfless love
and care to the terminally-ill patients. |
